Nothing says community quite like food. We will have a potluck luncheon beginning at 1pm, after the ceremony in the Sound Peace Chamber and before the Elders Teaching.
The Center will provide meat dishes and drinks. Please bring side dishes, breads, salads, vegetarian dishes, or desserts,
It is important for the Elders in the community to pass on their wisdom to future generations. Elders possess a treasure trove of knowledge and life experiences that can greatly benefit younger generations. Their wisdom can provide guidance, perspective, and a deeper understanding of life's complexities. By sharing their wisdom, elders empower and inspire others to make informed decisions, avoid repeating mistakes, and navigate challenges with resilience. The transmission of wisdom also fosters intergenerational connections and strengthens the fabric of the community
This program will begin at 2pm on Sunday October 29th. Chanting in the Chamber will end a little before 1pm to allow time to have a potluck meal before the Wisdom Teaching.
