Huna is a very ancient practice, which comes to us by way of Hawaii and the South Pacific.
Huna Shamanism is for those people who are willing to BE in this world as participants with the Creator in what It is doing – as co-creators. It is a way of blessing, enhancing, and encouraging other people and other forms of life to grow and to express life according their own unique patterns and will – which is the way of love.

Lee’s spiritual journey began at an early age. From the age of 6, Lee loved being in the woods and exploring. He would spend hours hiking and often getting lost. He quickly learned to watch the animals and the trees to find his way home. Lee grew up in the Christian faith and after several mystical and spiritual experiences that he couldn’t explain, nor could anyone else, he went looking for the answers. Through that journey Lee met many different people and learned many different things. Including Druidry, other Pagan faiths, Buddhism, and Taoism. Lee’s journey into the shamanic traditions began one night at a sweat lodge. Lee was overwhelmed by the beauty of the ceremony, the heat, the smell of the sage, the fire and the hot stones as they came into the lodge.
Once again, Lee found himself searching. After finding a book about the spirituality of the Native Americans his life was changed forever. Learning about the Native American’s beliefs and how they saw the world Lee found himself in a state of awe. Finally, Lee discovered a path that brought everything he loved together. Lee threw himself into everything shamanic he could. Reading every book he could find and learning from anyone who would teach him. He eventually became a Fire Keeper and continues to tend fire for the Sweat lodge and visionary dances. Lee also dances some the visionary dances as well. He is currently being trained to pour the sweat lodge.
His life changed once again when one of his teachers recommend “Urban Shaman” by Serge Kahili King. From that point on Lee has practiced and studied the Huna Kupua Tradition as taught by Serge Kahili King. He found that it matched his own beliefs and provided a practical and effective system to heal himself and help others become who they want to be. Lee’s journey into Huna began in 2013 and after years of study and practice Lee is in the process of becoming an Alakai (ordained minister) of the Kahili Family tradition. As part of his ministry Lee decided to begin his dream of sharing these beautiful traditions with those who wanted to learn.
